Our very first pop-up at Bouldershack climbing gym, Southampton!
On the 12th May 2026 we held our very first pop-up and gym takeover at Bouldershack climbing gym in Southampton alongside our friends @sportyorigins ! It went on from 17:00 - 22:00 and we are proud to say that everyone we spoke to had an amazing time.
Getting people together to climb and at a gym that many of them had never been to before was an amazing experience, the staff were incredibly kind, engaging and helpful throughout the whole time which made it even easier and a much greater time for everyone.
We were able to hold our own mini 'hanging-time' competition where everyone was able to participate with multiple prizes up for grabs, including free day-entry, a @sportyorigins belt and Ascendit 'pass that chalk' t-shirt and stickers.
This was only the first of many climbing gym takeovers and pop-ups that we plan to do and are incredibly happy with how successful this first one was! We hope that it is a clear sign of how the future ones we hope to host will be as well!
